Beyond Vimachem, Alex serves as Adjunct Faculty at Columbia University, where he has taught since 2014, sharing his expertise in analytics, operational excellence, and strategic intelligence with graduate students. He is also an active member of the Pharma 4.0 Special Interest Group at ISPE, contributing to global standards and best practices in manufacturing digitization.

I am a Senior Project Manager with 18 years of experience in construction, civil engineering, and infrastructure projects, alongside work in pharmaceutical manufacturing, IT, renewable energy, and asset management. I have managed projects and led teams to deliver within scope, schedule, and budget.

My background includes capital projects, infrastructure solutions, and asset management, with a foundation in civil engineering. I use Agile, Scrum, PMBOK, and CCPM methodologies and understand enterprise architecture and business process optimisation. My career spans consulting and corporate roles.

I focus on problem-solving and client relationships, particularly in construction and engineering, to deliver value through technical and strategic work.

I have a passion for the Life Sciences industry, worked for about 30 years in the industry as business consultant, architect and solution manager working on solving customer challenges in regulated industry. I work with Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Medical Device, Healthcare segments to understand trends and challenges in the industry and advise IT solution to resolve the business pain points in the value chain. I have extensive experience innovating with Fortune 500 companies to use technology to drive business value and maximize the return of their investment in SAP. I have successfully managed the SAP business configuration and implementation and experienced in evaluating and implementing business process systems across various process and discrete industry manufacturers.

As a hobby, I love to play sports like cricket, read books and travel to places enjoying regional food.
